A team of hackers from China known as ‘PanGu’ have released Pangu, an untethered jailbreak for the iOS 7.1.1. We are always skeptical of stuff coming out of china but iH8Snow has cleared some things up by checking up on this jailbreak, read the notes below.
No Risk Jailbreak
iH8Sn0w confirms that there is no spyware. “Aside from the piracy store and enterprise certificate… The http://pangu.io jailbreak does not have “spyware” or malicious trails.”
Currently the jailbreak only works for windows, Mac version is in the works according to a google translation of the official website.
The team has given credit to i0n1c training for the infoleak bug. However I0n1c did not have supporting words for the pangu team, “if pangu team releases a public jailbreak with vulnerabilities disclosed to them during my training I consider this in no way okay.”
You can download the Jailbreak via Pangu’s official website. [Pangu’s Official Download Link]
