Images and a video of Apple’s rumored new lightning cable packing a reversible USB connecter have surfaced online.
First images surfaced on Dianxinshouji, the overall design matches with Apple’s patent filed under REVERSIBLE USB CONNECTOR. Sonny Dickson has also leaked a video that shows Apple’s new Lightning cable with a reversible USB connector. Sonny has a solid history of leaking Apple products.
What does this mean for you ? – if the next generation of lighting cables pack the reversible usb connecter this means no more flipping the cable, and having issues aligning up the usb.
Apple is expected to announce the new Lightning cable along with the next gen iPhone on Sep 9th 2014.
