I’m having trouble finding the .theme folder when i download a theme.
Most Themes do not have .theme added when you download them.
you can add .theme to the main folder within which the theme is contained.
example: [itheme] Becomes [iTheme.theme]
Place [iTheme.theme] Here —>> Library/Themes/{Here}
I’m having trouble opening the “Themes” folder. the iexplorer treats it as a file, or something like that which prevents me from opening the folder. Any tips? Thanks
Huy,
Try to download any theme using Cydia, test it by applying git winterboard if it changes you are good.
Now hook your Device back & see if you can open themes folder.
I can change any theme from Cydia just fine. And still cannot access to that Themes folder.

Here is the screenshot to make it clear. By the way, when I do right click -> open, it will download that folder to my Documents and i can open it just fine.
it is so weird that i can access to those folders using iFile on the phone, but not thru iExplorer hmmm
I have the exact same problem. The Themes Folder shows up as an icon.
you could find it through private/var/stash/themes.3rzitc
and upload theme.theme it still will show up on winterboard
thanks IS351 for the advice, but my Var folder is also being treated like a file not a folder.
I have found that if I double-click Themes, nothing happens. But Right-Click and select Open, and the Themes folder will open in a Finder window (OSX), but changes aren’t saved to the iPhone.
I had the same issue. If you just create a new folder in the Library/ folder and name it “Themes” it will magically open the door to the themes folder and you can use it like normal. I was worried this would create a duplicate folder but it does not, and I actually have to “create” the new folder every time. Hope this helps!
