If you cannot wait till the fall for the iOS 8 to come out, you can now get the iOS 8 style quick reply with a new jailbreak tweak called “Interactive Message Notifications”. This 0.99cent tweak brings the quick reply to the current iOS 7.1.x, the tweaks has no settings after its installed.
