2016 CES : Las Vegas – Fitbit annouced that it has finally entered the crowded smartwatch market with a brand new line called ‘Blaze’ Fitness Smart Watch.
The Blaze features a sleep design, interchangeable accessories. The Fitbit looks just like many other smartwatches on the market but it will not offer any 3rd party apps, Fitbit will focus on activity and fitness only.! The Fitbit Blaze features a color touchscreen, buit-in heart rate tracker. The Blaze will allow users to track sleep, steps, exercise, calories burnt and more.
Blaze also features on-screen workouts with guided instructions, animated images and wireless syncing with the Fitbit dashboard, continuous heart rate tracking with resting heart rate and heart rate trends over time, automatic exercise recognition which automatically recognizes and records continuous movement activities like biking, hiking and running and more.
The device will retail for $199.95 in ship in March 2016
