Apple today issued a statement saying “demand for the new iPad is off the charts, this comes according to a report published by USA Today. Pre-orders that are suppose to arrive March 16th has already been sold out. Arrival date has already been pushed to March 19th if you do a pre-order right now.

“Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased,” Apple said in a statement. “Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date.”
