Bowtie is a free application that allows you to control your iTunes in a beautiful way. You can close iTunes and still control your iTunes by Bowtie, you can see information about the currently playing song its rating and more. Most themes give you controls such as Next – Previous – Play – Pause – Rate, but you must know that this functionality is added within an individual Bowtie Theme so different themes and different features.!
In Short With Bowtie You control your iTunes, you can apply many different themes hence changing the look and the functionality of Bowtie itself.

This does exactly what it says, but is played through a third party (Bowties own player) and you cant access playlists or choose the song that plays. it plays all songs at random. So its nice, but it’s not free anymore. This update to choose a song would make this well worth the money for people who have home theater systems or an ipod dock. I hope this is in the works.
