Springback is a brand new application that can be very useful in different situations. The main purpose is to perform a backup of Springboard, or rather the position of the various icons that make it up. Now even tough it doesn’t happen much but we all have gone through a reset on the device where all the icons get reset and the icons change location & you loose your set up. This will bring your set up back with the icon locations wherever you had them before.
SpringBack is available via Cydia.
Warning – You should never restore a backup that contains the icons of applications now deleted from your iPhone. If this error was committed, the device will slow until it re-install those applications.

Great app this. Just found it the other day and makes setting up iNav style themes a breeze once you have saved your icon locations.
A must have if you change themes and icon locations often.
yupps! just simply name the back up for whatever theme it is from and you are good to go
i wonder how it reacts to blanks being missing when coming back to a full regular springboard.
good point. i also wondered what happened with the apps you have installed between backups. Say you backup your icons, install a new app and move its icon to the first page, then restore that backup in Springback. Does that icon get kicked to the end of the line….
I could try it myself…haha but im lazy at the moment.
