Sirius XM Premium Online

Sirius XM App is finally out in the App Store! This has been a long time waiting, but is now available. But not without controversy. The App is free to download, but you have to have a Premium Sirius XM account. You can sign up for a 7 day Trial, and test this out and see if you like it. Now, the controversy…

No Howard Stern, No Nascar, No MLB (play-by-play), and No NFL (play-by-play). Talk about making users upset. While there are alot of people that don’t care, but not putting Howard Stern on is not a good move by them. I am sure they have their reasons…….

So, is it enough to stop using, Pandora, Aol Radio, etc…. Let us know!!!!

NOTE: This app does not work unless you at least have Firmware Version 2.2.1

You can check out the channel lineup Here along with more details and you can check out how it feels. There is 120 Channels. You have to set up in the begining, for the trial version (7 day), you don’t need any credit card info to put into the setup (always nice). The Premium Online Version is $2.99 per Month which everyone has to pay if you want this app. I have a lifetime account and another monthly account and still would have to pay extra per month to get this on my iPhone, which I think is not fair. I think if you are already paying for this per month, you should be able to get this free, and charge $2.99 for people without the subscription. One of the good things is you can take it anywhere that you mostly wouldn’t get Sirius XM, as long as you have Edge/3G, it works great.
