[note]In this Tutorial you will see the steps required to JailBreak iPhone 2G  &  3G.[/note]

Note :

•   The Process is 100% Same for both 2G & 3G .

 

Download :

• QuickPwn 2.2.5     [Make sure you mount this by double clicking]
• 2.2.1 [2G]: iPhone1,1_2.2.1_5H1_Restore.ipsw
• 2.2.1 [3G]: iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw

 

 

Step 1.

Create a Folder on your Desktop call it “Pwnage”  & Put Firmware file & Quickpwn Icon in it.

 

 

Step 2.

Double Click the QuickPwn Icon to Run it. You will see the following hit ok. 

 

 

 

Step 3.

Connect your iPhone to your Computer useing the USB Cable. 

 

 

Step 4.

QuickPwn will Recognize your Phone once it is connected. Now Click the Blue Arrow.

 

Step 5. 

Quickpwn will then Locate the firmware Automatically.

Depending on which iPhnoe you are working with Firmware file will be that one.

[Just make sure you have current firmware]

 

 

 

Step 6.

QuickPwn will ask you id you would like to replace the Boot Logos  (The Apple Logo that shows when you start up your devicel)

 

Note: You will notice QuickPwn Will now  Build a custom ipsw

 

 

Step 7.

You will need to enter you admin user & Password.

 

 

Step 8. 

Quickpwn will walk you through Putting your iPhone into DFU Mode.

 

You will now be instructed to Hold both Home & Power Buttons Togeather.

Important: Hold the Home button 5 Secs before holding the Power Button otherwise you will fail to go into DFU & simply end up in Restore mode.

 

 

Note: Again Before holding Both Button (Power & Home) You must Hold down the Home Button for 3 Secs and only then hold the power button.

Continue to hold Both Buttons togeather for 10 Secs

 

Step 9.

You will be instructed to Release the Power Button.

Keep holding the Home Button.

 

Step 10.

Wait & Watch

As soon as your device enters DFU Mode QuickPwn will start sending the Firmware.

If you fail to go into DFU – Try Again.( make sure you press home button before the power)

 

 

 

Done.
