Apple’s iPhone Sales break the 600,00 mark on the first day of pre-sales. This is by far the highest opening day sales by any phone to date. They are now trying to focus on filling those orders. If you are lucky enough to get a pre-order through, you will have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. Now you can always take your chances and head down to an Apple or AT&T store and see if you get lucky.
As far as the numbers go, the iPad sold 300,000 iPads the first day. There were some estimates of 600,000 to 700,000, but those were early numbers and not from Apple. This report is from Apple, so it is pretty impressive. AT&T stated they had over 13 Million Hits from customers trying to see if they were available for the early upgrade. Apple’s Stock also rose $6.24 in midday trading which was a 2.4% increase while AT&T’s Shares fell 4 cents or just 0.2% down. The iPhone 3GS total sales on the first 3 days topped 1 Million units which was the most succesful debut for a smartphone yet. I think the iPhone 4 will bypass the total number pretty easy. It all depends on how Apple deals with the overload.

will the new iphone be able to get on any 3g network even tmobile.
