iOS 5.1 Beta 3 Reveals – Apple Maybe Working on Siri Dictation for the iPad

It looks like Apple maybe working on bringing the Siri dictation to the iPad, iOS 5.1 Beta 3 reveals as such. According to a report published on 9to5mac.com the iOS 5.1 beta 3 contains exciting hints at the future of iOS devices. If this is true this is a major find, Siri dictations references have been found within the settings application on the iPad under a new section labeled as “About Privacy & Dictation”. A tipster sent this info to 9to5mac.com, the tipster stated that when tapped on this section, the iPad provided a pop up with the standard legal literature & feature information for Siri Dictation.

It is unclear if Apple is planning Full blown Siri or just Siri dictation for the iPad, it is also unclear if Apple is planning to add this new functionality to the existing iPads via iOS 5.1 update or this is Apple prepping itself for the New iPad 3. We sure have our fingers crossed to see some sort of Siri functionality come to the existing iPads. [via]
