The music discovery Web site imeem.com officially launched its very own iPhone app on Thursday, May 14. The App looks similar to Pandora and other Radio Apps. It also works similar to other radio apps for example recommended play like pandora,but one thing sets it apart then all the others is call up your music & stream it anywhere over wi fi, this is the music that you have uploaded to Imeem’s Website from your personal collection.

Hold your horses before you think about uploading those gazillion songs in your iTunes library, you can only upload 100 songs for free. Anything over 100 songs you will have to pay $29.99 per year for up to 1,000 songs, or $99.99 per year for up to 20,000.  imeem has a client for both windows and mac which is used to upload the songs. Songs streamed from your personal collection are not subject to the limitations placed on Internet radio content, such as limited song skips, or the inability to play songs from the same artist back-to-back.
