iBooks is now available for the iPhone for free and has several free books out there to download, but these books lack the Artwork for the Cover. It actually looks pretty lame on the application with a bunch of brown boring books that all look alike unless you are paying for the books. My wife had several free books but mentioned “I can’t get the artwork for the cover”. The actual “Get Albm Artwork” selection does not work very good at all. So here is a solution for free that works for every iBook or album/song in you iPod.

First – download the book that you want. Take a look at the screenshot as you see the plain paperback book cover on the top left shelf.

Second – Open iTunes and from the Library selection (not in your Device’s), click on the Books icon and right click the book you are going to get the artwork for and click on Get Info. Now in another window, open google/bing, or any other image search and type in your book title or something that you may want as a picture for that book.

Third – Once you see what you like, click it and make sure it is an ok size like from 200px to 700px. iTunes will size it to fit anyway. Just drag & drop the image from the website window into the iTunes Artwork Section and click OK.

Now your iTunes screen should look like this.

Now just Re-Sync your iPhone and your iBooks should look like this.
