Discovered the firmware 3.0 yet another feature,support for a new open standard for live streaming over http,this promises to open up standards-based video broadcasting to a wide audience.

In march,when Apple unveiled the 3.0 Firmware they dropped a very small hint about the new Video streaming Features but did not discuss it at all, The word “Streaming Video” appeared on the slide for a moment leaving out any other details about this or how it will work ? maybe the feature was/is still in development and Apple plans to make it public in next firmware ?

Whats HTTP Live Streaming ?
The technology behind HTTP Live Streaming leaked into public knowledge in May when Apple submitted it to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a draft standard on track to become an RFC (or Request For Comments, the memorandum used by the Internet Society to define how technologies work in order to foster cooperation and compatibility between the vendors implementing them).
