The evad3rs Dev-Team has updated the status of the iOS 6.1 jailbreak ‘Evasi0n‘  indicating that the applications for the Windows and the OS X are finished. Next up is Lunix and private beta testing.

The ’Evasi0n’ jailbreak is widely expected to be released on Sunday. Once released  ’Evasi0n’ will be able to jailbreak  All 22 iDevice Variations.

The dev-team has indicated that the jailbreak will only take about 5 minutes or under to jailbreak your device from start to end!

Requirements

• 5 minutes of your time!

• A computer, running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.5 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64)

• An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1 (you may check in Settings / General / About => Version)

• A USB cable to connect the device to the computer
