This tutorial will guide you through how to enable MMS on your 2G iPhone. MMS is not active yet in the US but if in your country MMS is working you can do this following process and get MMS on the 1st Gen iPhone.
Warning : This only works on 1st gen iPhones with 3.0 Firmware update.iPhone with any other firmware should not install this – you will have to restore your device.!!!
Enable MMS on 1st Gen iPhone:
Step 1. Go into Cydia and download the package ”ActivateMMS2G “available on our partner iSpazio Repository.

Step 2. Restart Your iPhone.
Step 3. Now go in Settings> General> Network> Cellular Data Network, and configure the MMS If you do not find this field loaded with the Bundles that are here. You may have to enter the APN manually. Just google for your carrier’s APN
Step 4. You should now have the MMS option in your message interface. The iPhone will tell you that in order to send MMS you must set your phone number. Once done you will then return to your messages, attach files and send and receive MMS.

all this works, but when you enter mms apn settings, apn doesn't save. mmsc, mms proxy is saved but apn always stays blank, therefore i doesnt work
Exact same happening here… any solution?
mms option is also not appearing on messages even though i have followed all the steps above.
Thanks
It needs an upgrade for us majority iPhoners.
For now it's a waste of time.
Is it completey trustworthy because I heard stories about it bricking the phone it would just stall on the apple logo
