This method allows you to downgrade your 02:30:03 BaseBand to 02:28:00 BaseBand,hence furthur allowing you to use Yellowsnow to unlock your device.
This only works on 3G Devices that have 5.8 Bootloader – This will not work on iPhones that have 5.9 Bootloader ( all Devices with Firmwware 2.1 Out of the Box have 5.9 Bootloader).
The New tool is called pHaseBanDowngrader and is an alternative to iDowngradeMyBaseband of which we have already spoken.For obvious reasons, those who have already run the Downgrade with the other application does not need to use this.

These tools are needed only for iPhone 3G to bring Baseband version from 02:30:03 to 02:28:00, After doing this successfully you should be able to use Yellowsnow to unlock your device.

Guide:
Step 1. download the file and extract to your desktop
Step 2. Link to SSH to your iPhone and copy the folder “phasebandowngrader” within the directory: “/ Applications /”
Step 3. Run MobileTerminal application on your iPhone (you download through Cydia) and type these commands:
login
root
Alpine
cd / Applications / phasebandowngrader & &. / phasebandowngrader
4th Follow the instructions on the screen and you have completed the downgrade.
