You can choose magnetic north, or have Compass adjust the declination to show true north.</span></h2>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span>IMPORTANT: </span>The accuracy of digital compass headings may be negatively affected by magnetic or other environmental interference, including interference caused by the close proximity of the magnets contained in the iPhone earbuds. The digital compass should only be used for basic navigation assistance and should not be solely relied on to determine precise locations, proximity, distance, or direction.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">The compass needs to be calibrated the first time you use it, and may need to be calibrated occasionally after that. iPhone alerts you whenever calibration is needed.</p>
<h3 style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0.3em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 1.3em; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 1.4; color: #000000; padding: 0px;">Calibrate iPhone:</h3>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">Wave iPhone in a figure eight. You may also be asked to move away from a source of interference.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3686" title="compass" src="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/compass.png" alt="compass" width="159" height="230" /></p>
<h3 style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0.3em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 1.3em; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 1.4; color: #000000; padding: 0px;">See which way you’re facing:</h3>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">Hold iPhone level to the ground. The compass needle rotates to point north. Your current direction appears at the top of the screen. The coordinates of your current location are displayed at the bottom of the screen.</p>
<h3 style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0.3em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 1.3em; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 1.4; color: #000000; padding: 0px;">Switch between true north and magnetic north:</h3>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">Tap <img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3731" title="il_info" src="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/il_info.png" alt="il_info" width="14" height="14" /> and tap the setting you want.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">

<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">The icon at the bottom of the Compass screen lets you find your current location in Maps. Maps also takes advantage of the built-in compass to show which way you’re facing.</p>
<h3 style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0.3em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 1.3em; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 1.4; color: #000000; padding: 0px;">See your current location in Maps:</h3>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">Tap <img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3732" title="il_compcurloc" src="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/il_compcurloc.png" alt="il_compcurloc" width="14" height="14" />. Maps opens and indicates your current location with a blue marker.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3695" title="GPSTrack_P1" src="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/GPSTrack_P1.png" alt="GPSTrack_P1" width="160" height="231" /></p>

<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;">In Maps, tap <img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3732" title="il_compcurloc" src="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/il_compcurloc.png" alt="il_compcurloc" width="14" height="14" /> again. You can enter multiple addresses and send a message to several people at the same time.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span>NOTE: </span>MMS is available only on iPhone 3G or later. <p style="text-align: center;">
<p>VolumeMC is a tweak that is available via Cydia. This is a tweak that is installed  on your device along with a toggle for SBSetting. To activate if you can go into <a title="Permanent Link to SBSettings" rel="bookmark" href="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/sbsettings/">SBSettings</a>.  The <span id="more-2732"></span>tweak is compatible with the status bar iPod icons Notice in the last screenshot song has been paused,you can see paused icon.</p>
<p>We tested this tweak and found it very useful in many different scenarios  (even tough you can access similar controls one the inbuilt <a href="http://www.ihackthatifone.com/stereo-headset-shortcuts/">Stereo Headset Shortcuts</a> one example of this coming Handy is -  i have my iPhone Mounted in the car this comes handy if i need move on to a different song as i don&#8217;t have to unlock the screen. You will find this tweak a little annoying in the beginning because you are use to hitting the Volume button to raise or lower the Volume,but you can channel that out as you get use to it being active.</p>
<p><strong>What it does?  : </strong>Once Active it turns your Volume Button on the side into Controls for iPod.</p>
<p>Once Active in SBSettings  you can play a song without launching the iPod App ( You can start a song even if the screen is locked).</p>
<p><strong>Features :</strong></p>
<p>Play (start iPod) | Skip  Song | Previous Song | Pause |</p>
<p><strong>How does controls work:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Volume Up<strong> &#8211; </strong>Starts Playing Song</li>
<li>Volume Up :  Skips Song</li>
<li>Volume Down : Previous Song</li>
<li>Pressing Volume Up &amp; Then Down : Pauses the playing song.</li>
</ul>
