Sling Media showed off a version of SlingPlayer running on an iPhone just about a year ago & there is still no SlingPlayer App for the iPhone.  The Boy Genius report did say that at&t  may ask Apple to Keep SlingPlayer from taking a stroll in the AppStore, but the same folks also state that Sling Media did not hear anything back from Apple regarding the approval of their App. Now we see that SlingMedia has started to show off their Latest & greatest App for the iPhone,So its likely that SlingPlayer App for the iPhone will be available for download soon. There have been rumors that the App itself may not work with the latest SlingBox products users may have to upgrade their Slingbox to be able to use the Mobile App itself.  But all things Aside it does look like that SlingPlayer App will be here sooner of later. Sling Media has announced on their website that SlingPlayer for the iPhone will be available soon.! 

Update :

Rumor has it that SlingBox’s iPhone App has been Rejected by Apple. The reason? like we said earlier in this post”AT&T” is worried about the massive BandWidth useage that this App may cause over the 3G Network hence putting at&t in a spot where they really do not want to be.

Update: After testing the App more thoroughly i found that it has some navigation Issues nothing major.  So we will hold back the Release for now until the Navigation issue is fixed.  Until then please tune to the regular Tv.

iBrowser is an excellent  new application for iPhone / iPod Touch developed by Erica Sadun and available for free on Cydia. This is a software that allows you to navigate within the system files of your devices 

directly from the browser on your PC or Mac through the network. With iBrowser you can very easily download any file from your iPhone / iPod Touch directly to your PC or Mac, iBrowser is available via modmyi Repo.
