Apple has released the iTunes 8.2.1 update and this update clearly states that it address issues with the verification of Apple Devices hence breaking the Pal Pre Sync with the iTunes. We predicated this move by Apple as Palm took a bite at Apple Literally after the release of their Palm Pre.

iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. iTunes 8.2 also includes many accessibility improvements and bug fixes.
