Apple has pushed out the new iPhone Firmware 3.1.3 out to all iPhones. While this update doesn’t bring any goodies it is a bug fixer upper. Until Dev Team’s confirmation we advise you to not upgrade you Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch.
This update for iPhone and iPod touch contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
• Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some instances
• Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard

There has been an official notice from the Dev Team that redsnow 0.9.2 does indeed jailbreak all but the 3GS newer versions and Touch 3g. Baseband will update so no unlocking.
Hi
I have got the IPOD Touch 3G and had the 3.1.2 firmware and then I jailbraked using black1rn. But I accidently have updated my Ipod to the latest firmware of 3.1.3 and now I have lost my jailbroken, in which I really regret doing so.
Have you got any idea when a jailbroken software would be available for the new firmware, I really dont know why Apple did this and the problem about this is that you cannot go to the previous firmware, REALLY STUPID.
I WARN ANY OF YOU DO NOT UPDATE TO THE LATEST FIRMWARE, YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO SO.
i also had a jailbroken ipod but i downloaded the update also for no reson is there any other way to jailbreak it now
 ;-(
