Apple has released the latest version of iOS – version 4.0.1, this update is mainly suppose to fix the formula used to calculate the signal bars. We do not know what impact this firmware update will have on the iPhone 4 Software unlock or the jailbreak. In the past it had been confirmed that the iOS 4.0.1 is still jailbreakable. If you want your iPhone Unlocked in future it is suggested that you do not update to 4.0.1 just yet lets hold the update until more info on jailbreak and unlock is released by The iPhone Dev Team.
just tryed redsn0w on the 4.0.1 it works just gotta get the 4.0 firmware and pick it.

its not iOS 4.1 its iOS 4.0.1 please re-correct the title cause its misleading and iOS 4.1 was only released beta to developers and it is a different software

if you have an iPhone 4 its not a bad idea to wait until there is a Jailbreak out.
so @Ravi – you and others me included should deff wait and think about upgrading after the jailbreak is out.
i am waiting….. must have jb with no problems…… :p
