“Apple plans to introduce a cheaper version of its popular iPhone as soon as Monday,” Says FT.com. This is a move that could dramatically increase the Apple’s  share of the market for web-surfing devices. This seems to make sense as this will open up more market for the iPhone,Apple wants to cash in on the publicity of the iPhone this will be the time to do so.

Expected Costs :  $99 or $149.

 Introducing a cheaper device will increase iPhone owners,currently Apple is only selling 11% of world’s smart phones so it is very clear that market is still not dominated by Apple. Apple may very well be planning to attack Nokia which is the leading smart phone seller in the world today responsible for over 41% smart phones in the world. Lets see how this pans out WWDC is not too far away.
