Apple has served it again, this time with a brand new 11” Macbook Air. This was predicted earlier that Apple’s Mac Event will most likely be used to announce or release a smaller Macbook Air. This step forward into the future eliminates mechanical hard disks and optical drives with Internet services and solid state flash storage.
Whats New
- faster—solid state flash storage is up to twice as fast as hard drive storage
- more reliable—hard drive crashes are eliminated
- lighter and smaller—solid state flash storage is up to 90 percent smaller and lighter than hard drives
