Apple held a media event today to announce some product refreshersCheck out the round up after the break.

First Up. Apple TV
Apple TV is now just a small black box that features an HDMI port, OpticalAudio, ethernet, and no power brick. The best part is that since there is no internal storage you can run HD Movie rentals for only $4.99, and now HD TV shows are only $.99. And, as you might expect, all of the content will continue to get cheaper as time passes. There is no syncing involved, just streaming. It will cost $99 and is up for preorder now. Releases in about 4 weeks.

The New iPods

Apple finally announced their new Apple iPods. Yes, there is a new iPod touch with a front and back facing camera. It will feature facetime and 720p video recording. Prices are 229, 299, and 399 for the 8Gb, 32Gb and 64Gb versions

The iPod shuffle has been revamped along with the iPod Nano. The nano now has a multitouch screen and will sell for $149 and $179 for the 8Gb and 16Gb models
