C3 Technologies mapping solutions have earned themselves title of , “Google Maps on steroids,”as you will see in the video below. This is Apple’s third acquisition of a mapping company, it is rumored that Apple has always wanted to do the Maps in-house and not depend on Google Maps can you smell iMaps?. Apple’s first acquisition was Poly9 then came acquisition of another 3D mapping technology & now Apple acquires another 3D Maps Tech Firm it looks like Apple is well on way to produce their own in-house Maps App.
